Robopets Celebration Plaza

Grab your Robopet buddy and head on over to Robopet’s Virtual World Plaza as you are welcomed to their yearly celebration!

Hello, we are Team Polaris and we created Robopet’s virtual world where people can travel to and have a blast! In this virtual world, people can go and hang out with their human friends and their Robopet buddies at the world's plaza. This idea was inspired by various video game lobbies where people can hang out before they start a game. For inspiration, we looked at Splatoon's plaza and how they were able to create an immersive plaza for their players to hang out at. The overall aesthetic also inspired us, such as the bright colors and the detailed buildings. We were also inspired by the concept of virtual pets such as Neopets and how cool it would be if we could travel to the Neopets world. At the start, the players will spawn at the Robopet’s Plaza and make their way outside to the festival. The player can move around and be immersed in the world around them. There will be music blasting, food, and games to see.
